This grill is wonderful. The primary reason i purchased the grill was for the compactness when ready for storage in the RV’s “closet”. This grill is available for use in minutes and hardly takes up any space. Assembly takes only a minute. The design allows for use of charcoal or wood. I lit up the charcoal in minutes in windy conditions. Ash dispersal was minimal while cooking. The unit was easily moved even with hot coals. This morning we wanted to roast marshmallows. Set up was efficient. In minutes we were roasting our sweet breakfast. Removing the grill plates with the supplied handles was easy. We wanted to add wood to the fire. Clean up was also very easy. Seasoning the grill before using is an important task. I coated the entire grill in safflower oil, placed the assembled grill in the oven and let it bake for an hour at 450°. The grill has a smooth, non-stick surface. i’ll probably repeat this a few times. Slot Grill is definitely a winner for my needs.

My husband got this grill and is great! We love it. Is the best compact grill we've ever had. We take it everywhere. Well made, and doesn't take much space.

Ease of Use: I love it it is best 😊

I am completely new to charcoal grilling, but this little grill works great! I will be buying the full sized one at some point in the future. I will probably also be buying the flat tops to give myself more options. I've been wanting this grill for a while now and my biggest regret is not trying it sooner. I made some steaks this weekend and using jelous devil chunx as the fuel I got the best sear I've ever had on a steak. And this thing is beefier than I expected, I expect this grill to easily last the rest of my life. This is an amazing American made product, I cant wait to use it again this weekend.

Breaking it in tonight with something simple . Grill itself is awesome and well made . Well finally using at work and it’s awesome. It’s perfect size for what I needed it for and stores nicely under my bunk . Pics I have I’m grilling on my pick up bed for now

Exactly what I was looking for. Have already used twice while camping.

I haven’t used it yet. I will be camping with it tomorrow and the next day. (4th of July weekend). I can say that the seasoning process was pretty straight forward and it seem to have come out great. Just a tip on the seasoning. I started with avacado oil on the first coat. I set my oven for 450. I don’t believe that is hot enough for avocado oil. It was just a little streaky. I switched to the blackstone seasoning stuff I had (it has a lower smoke point) and it worked awesome. I only did two rounds, and it looks great. I will let it season as I use it. It’s so hot here right now, I can’t bare to run the oven. Anyway, it’s a grill, not much to go wrong. Shipping was a little weird because of USPS, but that’s to be expected with government run stuff.

We got this for my husband for Father's Day and he loved it. Commented on how well it was built and is making plans to use it on the tailgate at the jobsites. Thanks!

Fantastic grill!

I have yet to be able to use the Slot Grill as it has just arrived. It appears well made and is very easy to assemble. I took some 320 sandpaper and sanded the grill top nice and smooth. Probably not necessary, but I like it. Looking forward to using it and I know when others see it there going to be ordering one. Thanks!

Solid and well-made. One of the best purchases I have made in a long time. I used it on a recent camping trip, and the food was excellent. I would recommend adding the griddle for additional capability.
